Midnight Patch 12.0.7 PTR Now a Release Candidate Build

The Patch 12.0.7 PTR has been flagged as a release candidate, signaling the patch should go live within a couple of weeks. No official date has been announced, but content already on the in-game calendar — Turbulent Timeways, Midsummer Festival, and the new Darkspear Dash event — points strongly to a June 16th release. That would land exactly eight weeks after Patch 12.0.5 dropped on April 21st.

As a release candidate this is likely one of the last full PTR builds, though hotfixes before and after launch will keep tweaking things as usual. The patch brings a hefty content slate: a new single-boss Sporefall raid with flexible 15–25 player Mythic difficulty, two new Void Assault Invasion Point zones in Naigtal and Val, Tier 6 Ritual Sites awarding Myth Dawncrests, additional player power via the Omnium Folio, and a continuation of the Midnight campaign centered on Zul'Jan.
