Get Champion Gear for Alts Using Field Accolades in Patch 12.0.7

Patch 12.0.7 is adding slot-specific Champion-track Warbound caches to the Field Accolade vendor on the PTR, giving mains a direct way to funnel gear to alts. Each cache costs just 100 Field Accolades and can be mailed account-wide — a meaningful outlet for players sitting on excess currency who've already capped out on upgrades and cosmetics for their main.

The previously added slot-specific Heroic caches are still around at 750 Field Accolades, but those are bind on pickup, so they're only useful for the character earning them. Random Heroic caches remain at 500 accolades though there's little reason to buy them beyond transmog, while random Champion caches have been discounted from 100 down to 75. Alternatively, Voidlight Marl can buy Quel'Thalas Equipment Chests for Champion gear, but those are still random — better for fresh alts than slot-hunting.

With Heroic Invasion activities in 12.0.7 set to pump out significantly more Field Accolades, getting an alt to Champion level should be straightforward, putting them in a solid position to jump into Void Assaults, Mythic+, and Invasions on their own.
