Get 3 Extra Catalyst Charges from AOTC or Keystone Master in Midnight Season 2
We've found another Catalyst change on the 12.1 PTR, and achieving AOTC or Keystone Master may give you enough charges to immediately get your 4-set!

Achievement Reward
As with every season, there's a new achievement that awards Catalyst Charges when you complete it. The requirements are:
- Achieve Ahead of the Curve
- Achieve 2k Mythic+ Score (Keystone Master)
- Achieve 1.6k PvP Rating
Season 2 is no different and the achievement Midnight Season 2: Serpent Scion has been added to the PTR. While the requirements to earn the achievement haven't been updated yet on the PTR, this achievement rewards a Crystallized Venomblight Manaflux which looks the same at a first glance, but it's actually been significantly buffed.

We've tested this on the PTR and can confirm that the Crystallized Venomblight Manaflux currently grants three Catalyst charges, a large increase from one Catalyst charge of previous seasons. There's still a lot of unknowns with the Catalyst changes, but if there is also a free Catalyst charge at the start of the season, any player who gets AOTC or Keystone Master will immediately be able to get a 4-set of Tier in the Season.
This seems to make sense with the changes to the Catalyst in Season 2, as Tier Sets now inherit secondary stats and cantrip effects. This means that getting your initial Tier set can be less important, as optimizing your Tier Set can be more of a precedence.
