Place Stairs In and Around Your Home in Patch 12.1
Wonder at the modern marvels of architecture, as Blizzard is blessed player houses with two sets of premade stairs in Patch 12.1!
This doesn't sound like it should be a big deal, but these are actually the first premade standalone sets of stairs available in player housing. A seemingly obvious feature, it's actually quite , but the lack of them has left players to fend for themselves. Creating even simple functional stairs can be an elaborate and time consuming process that eats up a big portion of your decor limit.
On the left is just one example of a simple player made staircase, compared to the new spiral staircase on the right.
While players can make their own set of stairs, even this quick and simple build on the left takes up 38 decor limit and 8 separate pieces of decor, while the new stairs cost just 3. Certainly, one size it not going to fit all, but it's a massive improvement for players who just want a simple staircase, while those looking for more complex builds still have every option to make them.
