Season 2 Splash Screen Revealed on Patch 12.1 PTR
The Midnight Season 2 splash screen has been revealed on the Patch 12.1 PTR, highlighting the updated Mythic+ rotation and new Venomous Abyss raid! Although we just datamined the Patch 12.1 launch splash screen, the Season 2 screen gives us a full look at what's coming.
Generally launching a week after the patch release, the second season of Midnight serves as a refresh for Delves, Prey, PvP, and an updated Mythic+ rotation including the new Altar of Fangs dungeon. It also introduces The Venomous Abyss, a new eight-boss raid set on The Coiled Isle, which drops an unprecedented number of special effect gear. This fits nicely alongside Catalyst changes retaining secondary stats and special effects, which means players will no longer have to shuffle their gear around to accommodate that new offpiece and still keep their set bonuses!
