Ban Wave Catches Russian Guild Mid-Raid - Possible 6 Month Ban

Blizzard appears to have sent out a major ban wave, which has caught several eastern European guilds, purportedly in a crackdown of real money transaction sales. Some of them were even unlucky enough to be caught by the ban on stream, with a Rotmire pick-up-group losing ~80% of its players mid pull!

Reports within the raid leader Discord server have confirmed that several Russian guilds including <Broomers>, <Rak Gaming>, <Banhammer>, <Гнев Анархии>, and <Unwealthy Homeless Men> were affected. Further reports suggest that additional Russian, Iranian, and middle eastern guilds may have been hit as well.

Reports seem to indicate that the ban was 6 months long.
