Season 2 Dungeon Guides Now Live with Tips, Tricks, and More
Patch 12.1 brings a new dungeon rotation, so whether you're doing an M0 world tour or preparing to push another season of keys, we have guides containing tips, tricks, and strategies for all eight new dungeons in Midnight Season 2! Check out the Mythic+ Season 2 overview for a full breakdown.
Remember, Season 2 dungeons are only available on Mythic 0 difficulty during the first week of Patch 12.1, before Season 2 formally begins.
- Week of August 11: Heroic and Mythic 0 difficulties. Mythic 0 is on a weekly lockout and drops 292 champion-track gear.
- Week of August 18: Mythic+ season begins. Mythic 0 lockout becomes daily instead of weekly and still drops 292 champion-track gear.

Each of these dungeon guides contains a general overview, including the location, bosses, and loot, as well as a short strategy guide detailing important interrupts and dispels, important trash, boss encounters, and tips and tricks to help prepare players for success!
For example, the new Altar of Fangs dungeon has a quick reference for which abilities are important to interrupt, dispel, and purge. We can see that the Twinfang Harrower before the first boss applies Paralyzing Shots, which can be dispelled.

Likewise, each guide contains various tips and tricks that might not be immediately apparent to players who haven't yet familiarized themselves with the dungeon. For example, the entire group can gain a 30-minute buff based on which path they take in the Voidscar Arena!
Voidscar Arena Tips and Tricks
- Depending on your initial path, you will get a different 30 minute buff:
- Left Path: Bonus Versatility
- Right Path: Bonus Mastery
- Tank Brutok facing a wall, so he doesn't charge across the arena.
- Burst down the Protective Turtle once the shield drops as it takes bonus damage.
- Devouring Brutalizers will attempt to Devour a mob periodically. Kill the mob to prevent the Brutalizer from healing.
- On Charonus, use pings to coordinate which singularity each DPS is going to.
