Easiest Way to Stomp on 1,000 Snakes for Snake Stompin'
One of the achievements in the Vault of Atal'Utek is for players to step on 1,000 snakes, and there's an easy way to complete the achievement.
Snake Stompin'
While this isn't part of the Meta achievement Assault the Vault, players who are looking to get all the achievements in the Vaults of Atal'Utek will be looking at Snake Stompin'. This achievement requires players to step on 1,000 Insidious Snakes in the area. These snakes can be very hard to see, and are killed instantly when stepped on, or when a guard notices them.
Stepping on 1,000 of these is a lot, and so players who want this achievement have discovered an AFK trick in order to complete this achievement without much work, but even then it still takes a couple of hours.
If you stand in the corner at /way #2509 50.11 67.02, and then auto run into the wall, you'll slowly accumulate Insidious Snake kills.
Even with this trick, getting 1,000 snake kills will probably take around 2-3 hours, longer if you decide to do extra things in between.
Other Things to Do
While you're here, you can work on other achievements during this time or complete Incursions and Ancient Foes when they pop up.
- Incursions and Ancient Foes only spawn every so often, and are a great source of Corrosive Coins for upgrading the Corrosive Codex (Fully Corroded) and rewards.
- Ritual Behavior can be completed when the correct Incursion spawns.
- This week, Dance While Everyone Watches is available due to the required Incursion being in rotation.
- This week, Soft Underbelly is available due to the required Strike being in rotation.
