Coiled Altar Massively Nerfed - Venomous Abyss Raid Tuning Hotfixes
A hotfix has massively nerfed the Coiled Altar encounter in the Venomous Abyss raid.
With hotfixes that are now live, the Coiled Altar has taken a pretty massive nerf. This encounter was vastly out of line of difficulty on Normal, and was a harder boss than Normal Ula'tek.
When the encounter reaches the Intermission at the end of Phase 2, hidden health modifiers, [DNT] Increase Max Health and [DNT] Increase Max Health, kick in and grant extra health to the bosses. The hotfixes reduce the health modifier of these buffs by almost 100% on every difficulty:
[DNT] Increase Max Health (Malacrass Health Bonus):
- Normal: Now grants 38% bonus health (was 133%)
- Heroic: Now grants 87% bonus health (was 180%)
- Mythic: Now grants 35% bonus health (was 135%)
[DNT] Increase Max Health (Zul'jan Health Bonus):
- Normal: Now grants 120% bonus health (was 220%)
- Heroic: Now grants 155% bonus health (was 246%)
- Mythic: Now grants 160% bonus health (was 260%)
Since the boss healing Ghastly Regeneration is % health based, this will greatly speed up the final phase of the encounter as the bosses' healing will be significantly reduced.
