Nightmare Prey Now Available - Earn a Guaranteed Trovehunter's Bounty Map
Nightmare Prey Hunts are now available with the launch of Season 2, and players can earn a guaranteed Trovehunter's Bounty after completing 3 Nightmare Hunts!
Nightmare Prey Quest
Head to Silvermoon City and pick up the quest A Nightmarish Task from Astalor Bloodsworn. This quest requires players to complete three Prey Hunts on Nightmare difficulty. Nightmare difficulty is available to players immediately, meaning you can jump right in and start completing this quest.
Completing this quest drops a variety of goodies:
Make sure to grab the Season 2 introductory quest, Prey: A Slithering Threat, as well to unlock a permanent portal to the Coiled Isle zone. Completing Nightmare Prey Hunts also rewards a good amount of Coffer Key Shards, which means more Coffer Keys to use on Tier 8 Bountiful Delves for some convenient Champion-track gear at the start of the season.
Earn A Guaranteed Trovehunter's Bounty Map
For completing the quest, players receive a Scalebound Herald's Flute, which can be used to lure the new Delve nemesis during your next Delve. You cannot use the flute until you have reached the Empowered Restoration Stone located deeper in the Delve.
Once you've reached the restoration stone, use the flute to summon Azta'rec. Defeating Azta'rec drops a guaranteed Trovehunter's Bounty, which can be used to earn Hero-track loot from your next Tier 8 Delve.
