Heroic Ula'tek Defeated by 清水 on China Realms
The world first kill of Heroic Ula'tek has been claimed!
After today's nerfs to Heroic Ula'tek, we saw Liquid put time into the encounter. This encounter is still really difficult as there's a lot of deadly overlaps, while also needing a lot of players to survive until the final burn. Liquid wiped 9% last night, but as of this morning, a Chinese guild 清水 has defeated the boss, according to WarcraftLogs!
There are many more challenges on Heroic Ula'tek including changes to the coordination needed for tethers in Phase 2, a more interesting Intermission phase, and additional waves and adds in Phase 3. There's also a nasty overlap when Ula'tek breaks the second platform as there's every mechanic in Phase 3 overlapping at the same time.
A Twitch clip from TeamLiquid captures the Platform 2 Overlap moment.
