New Companion Pet Datamined on WoW: Forever Beta

WoW: Forever handles datamining and encryption differently than other versions of WoW, so please note that all of the following information is subject to change on Forever's launch. Parts of this article are speculation based on the data that was found.
In the recent World of Warcraft: Forever Beta build, datamining revealed a new pet, Spawn of Grubthor. If that name sounds familiar, you may have encountered a Level 58 rare elite mob, Grubthor, while adventuring in Silithus in Classic World of Warcraft. Given the pet's name, this could be a sign that Spawn of Grubthor is a drop from Grubthor.

That said, we don't currently know where the smaller Grubthor might drop from — especially since, if it does drop from the rare, that is well outside the range of the levels we can hit in the beta.
