Cooldown Manager Now Available in WoW: Forever Beta

The Cooldown Manager from Retail is now available for testing in the WoW: Forever Beta.

The Cooldown Manager was originally added in Patch 12.0 with the Midnight expansion as a result of the addon disarmament. As WoW: Forever has the same addon restrictions and the same client as Retail, the Cooldown Manager can be ported over to Forever as well. In the second WoW: Forever Beta build, the Cooldown Manager is available for testing for Druids, Mages, Priests, Warriors, and Warlocks.

To turn on the Cooldown Manager, players need to go to Options -> Advanced Options and then enable the Cooldown Manager. Once it's enabled, you can go to Edit Mode to move the location of tracked spells, and type /cdm to edit which spells are shown.

  • The Cooldown Manager in World of Warcraft: Forever is intended to enhance gameplay by pulling critical information from the buff bar or action bar and placing it in a fully customizable location. By default, the Cooldown Manager is disabled, and it can be enabled in Options under the Gameplay Enhancement settings.
  • Druid, Mage, Priest, Warrior, and Warlock are available for testing the Cooldown Manager.
  • Additional classes will become testable in future updates.
  • The most desired feedback for this feature is currently: spells that you wish were tracked by default.
  • The Cooldown Manager does not yet support spell ranks. This will be resolved in a future Beta update.
