WoW: Forever AH Currently Bugged - Too Much Deposit Being Taken

If you're finding yourself missing money, it may have been eaten by the Auction House in WoW: Forever — there's currently a bug where too much silver is being taken for deposit.
Many players have reported that they've been mysteriously missing more money than they thought they should have had, and while it's easy to write this off as mistaken math, it turns out the Auction House might be the culprit. When every silver counts at early levels to train new skills, having more taken than it appears can quickly mean players come up short-changed right when they need money the most.
As reported on Reddit, the Auction House seemingly was taking exactly 1 silver for many auctions, even when the value of the items should have triggered a significantly smaller deposit. After testing, it was confirmed that, yes, the AH was taking more than the display said in several cases.
For example, when posting a Lesser Healing Potion, the sell price was 89 copper, and the listed deposit was 4 copper. Before the transaction was posted, the amount of silver and copper left was 34 silver 61 copper. After posting the Lesser Healing Potion, the available amount fell by exactly 1 silver to 33 silver 61 copper. This was tested with several different items, and for those with the lowest copper amounts required to place a deposit, it seemed that the minimum amount taken each time defaulted to 1 silver.
If the deposit amount is more than 1 silver, though, it seems like there are still rounding errors at the bare minimum. An example here was when posting a Blazing Wand, the total price was 22 silver, and the deposit was listed at 1 silver 32 copper. After posting the wand, the remaining money went from 33 silver 61 copper to 32 silver 27 copper. This was interesting because, yes, this was a more precise deposit fee, but considering the starting balance of 33 silver 61 copper and the deposit fee of 1 silver 32 copper, the end balance should've been 32 silver 29 copper — a difference of 2 copper.
It seems that right now, on the Auction House in WoW Forever, all items being listed with a deposit amount of 1 copper or less will automatically round up to 1 silver. However, for items that have a listed deposit of more than 1 silver, it's much more precise (but it could still have some slight issues). If you're using the Auction House to try and generate extra money for training or consumables, it might be easier and safer to simply vendor the items for now, depending on the profit that could be made. Otherwise, players risk actually spending money to sell their items instead of earning it.
