Community Ads
Promote your guild, stream, service or addon to the people who actually play.
TL;DR — You can run your own ads on Seramate. Promote your guild, addon, stream, coaching — whatever you offer the PvP community. Subscribe to the Exalted tier on Patreon, write your ad, and it runs across the site.
Every community ad was written by a supporter, reviewed by our staff, and served by us.

Why not just run Google Ads?
Because Google has no idea what this site is. It matches ads to a profile it built about you, so a WoW PvP leaderboard ends up showing car insurance and mobile games.
- Irrelevant. Nobody here is shopping for car insurance; unrelated ads are noise.
- Paid for with your data. Those ads work by tracking you across sites — cookies, fingerprinting, resold profiles. We refuse to add any of that.
- Slow. Ad scripts load more ad scripts.
- Blocked. They look like spam, get adblocked, and then earn nothing.
200,000 visits a month is a rounding error to Google — and a perfect audience for a guild recruiting, a streamer going live, or an addon worth installing.
How Community Ads work
A Community Ad is a small listing published by a supporter: a title, one line of description, an optional image and a single link. It is signed with one of the author's characters — “Community ad by Name” — linked to that character's profile.
Nothing involves a third party. We serve the ads ourselves and count views and clicks ourselves — daily totals per region, no cookies, no identifiers. Hiding an ad with its close button is remembered on your device for a week and never sent to us.
Every ad is reviewed by a human before it appears. The rules are short: no NSFW, no malware or phishing, no impersonation, no misleading claims, no tracking.
What people advertise here
- Guilds and communities — rosters, RBG groups, Discords.
- Streams and content — channels, YouTube series, VOD reviews.
- Services — coaching, VOD review, teams looking for players.
- Addons and tools — things you built that other players would use.
- Events — tournaments, community cups, charity runs.
If it is relevant to WoW PvP and yours to promote, it fits.
Running one
Community Ads are a perk of the Exalted tier on Patreon. Link your Patreon account to Seramate and the perk follows your pledge.
- Subscribe to the Exalted tier and link your Patreon account.
- Open your ads page and write your ad.
- Pick the regions it should run in and submit it for review.
- Once approved it runs across the site, with impressions and clicks on your dashboard.
You can keep three ads, pause and resume them freely, and retarget regions without re-review. Reviews have no promised turnaround, so submit ahead of time.
Every community ad was written by someone in this community. Supporting Seramate is what keeps these slots open to members rather than buyers.
